Mediware Extends PhysioTools Agreement to Offer Streamlined Workflow
Mediware Information Systems, Inc., a supplier of software for health and human service providers and payers, announces a major extension of its agreement with PhysioTools to help streamline workflow within MediLinks for Rehabilitation.
With the partnership, clinicians can open PhysioTools from MediLinks and easily create, manage and provide specific exercise programs for patients in real time.
“We’ve been working with PhysioTools for several years, and the ease of use and time savings for our clients, along with the comprehensive library of professional exercises used by leading specialists, is a huge draw for our clients. We’re thrilled to offer this add-on feature, and the best part—our clinicians won’t have to leave MediLinks,” said Stuart Foster, general manager for Mediware’s Rehabilitation and Respiratory divisions. “We’re committed to offering tools and solutions that help clinicians provide the best patient care, and this partnership is another example of our dedication to doing that.”
PhysioTools Sales and Marketing Director Gail Milne says that, as more facilities are forced to go with EMR systems, the deepened relationship between Mediware and PhysioTools is a big win for healthcare providers. “We’re thrilled to be working with Mediware, not only because they offer therapy solutions across the entire post-acute care continuum but also because of the company’s professional and personal way of partnering with us,” added Milne. Mediware offers an inpatient, acute, outpatient and even private practice solution for rehabilitation and have been in rehabilitation settings for nearly 30 years.
MediLinks for OP and PhysioTools offers workflow and proactive tools that support clinicians in the capture and tracking of required patient management as well as patient engagement. These workflows and tools allow the organization to promote a quality patient experience from the initial visit to discharge.
