Children exercises

80 new paediatric exercises have been added for all Physiotools Premium users.

Children includes basic paediatric exercises, movements and postures designed to supplement and update our existing children's exercises. To meet the needs of as many children as possible, various options have been added to the basic multi-purpose exercises.

The exercises serve a wide range of purposes and client groups ranging from, but not limited to, neurological or musculoskeletal disorders, rehabilitation from injury or surgery and more generally supporting development of mobility.

The objectives of the exercises are the development of movement control, muscle strength and range of motion of the lower extremities and trunk. Exercises can also be used in children's group activities or sports when striving for better movement quality. In addition, basic positions are included, which can be utilized in everyday situations, for example, weight bearing of the upper extremities, stretching and joint mobilizing or postural control. The purpose of these new exercises is to expand Physiotools' current content for children, to enable suitable exercises to be found for every client.

The exercises include photographs and videos and are available in English, German, Swedish and Finnish.
