Ideal for therapists working with client groups including cardiac, pulmonary, musculoskeletal and elderly rehabilitation, peripheral vascular disease, falls prevention, weight management, osteoporosis, diabetes, mental health and health related fitness. It includes standing and sitting cardiovascular and flexibility exercises suitable for various fitness levels. The exercises are constructed to enable the specialist to select the foot or leg pattern and choose from easy, moderate or hard intensity. The flexibility exercises are described regionally to stretch the large muscle groups. It is easy to produce a traditional warm-up, aerobic workout and cool down programme. Protocols are included by the author; cardiac, osteoporosis and pulmonary with standing and sitting exercises graded into easy, moderate and hard.
