Designed for therapists and fitness professionals who have a working knowledge of yoga and wish to reinforce correct technique, prescribe individualised yoga routines or adapt poses to accommodate injury.
It is based on Hatha Yoga; a good type of yoga for beginners, being gentle and slow, focusing on simple poses. Pose progressions to more difficult levels are included. Relaxation and breathing techniques are embedded with most of the poses to provide skills fundamental to the practice of yoga that extend to many other disciplines of exercise and rehabilitation.
